SSF Scavenger staff periodically look under the lids of waste collection carts to ensure that materials are reasonably well sorted. This is done on regular collection days as required by the state-mandated outreach and education program. If a problem is observed, an educational notice is left on the offending cart. The notice indicates the problem and how to correct it. When all 3 carts are out and waste materials are perfectly sorted, a “great job” notice is left behind.
